Ah, Spring in the South. I have to say, that this is the most beautiful place to be in the Spring. The Bradford Pear trees, Saucer Magnolias, azaleas,
phlox,
lilies, irises, and daffodils.

You really cannot beat the amount of flowers right now. But, in the last few weeks, a more prevalent sign of Spring has emerged.

Too bad we can't capture a picture of what that pollen looks like in my jogging headlamp each morning. I am reminded of driving through a blizzard watching each flake/particle appear to fall then rise, defying gravity as it gets caught in the airflow around me... Thank goodness pine pollen is too large to cause seasonal allergy problems - it is everything else in bloom that dictates my Claritin addiction...
